Chunichi Dragons

Between his third outing as a BP pitcher and a bullpen session, Kazuki Yoshimi threw 123 pitches during practice yesterday at Nagoya Stadium.  The team is hoping he'll be able to make the active roster sometime in mid-April (he's coming back from right elbow surgery); he might also be able to pitch in a game sometime this coming week.

Hanshin Tigers

Katsuhiko Saka went 1-for-2 (his one hit was a homer to right) during situational BP at Naruohama yesterday (Kenta Abe was pitching).  Saka is 0-for-16 so far during exhibition play.

Hiroshima Carp

Kenta Kurihara and Akihiro Higashide worked out under a separate training menus today -- Kurihara has tightness in his right elbow and Higashide is a little banged up after running into Hisayoshi Chono when covering first base during an exhibition game against the Yomiuri Giants on the 11th.

Yokohama Bay Stars

The Bay Stars held practices at Yokohama Stadium today for the first time since the earthquake.
