Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted 1st (replaced on defense in the 6th). He went 0-for-3: fly out to left, ground out to second, DP.
San Francisco Giants 4 - Oakland A's 3
Hideki Matsui entered the game as a pinch-hitter in the 9th and fouled out to third.
Minnesota Twins 4 - Pittsburgh Pirates 3
Tsuyoshi Nishioka started at second and batted 2nd (replaced by a pinch-runner in the 5th). He went 1-for-3 with an RBI: fly out to left, fly out to center, RBI infield hit.
Cleveland Indians 4 - Chicago Cubs 3
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted 1st (replaced on defense in the 8th). He went 0-for-4: ground out to second, fly out to left, strikeout looking, ground out to second.
Milwaukee Brewers 5 - San Diego Padres 4
Takashi Saito entered the game in the 9th, with the Brewers up 5-4, and tossed a shutout inning relief: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO, 0 HR. He also picked up a save.
LA Angels 5 - LA Dodgers 4
Hisanori Takahashi entered the game in the 8th, the with Dodgers down 4-3, and tossed a shutout inning in relief: 1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO, 0 HR. He got the win.
Baltimore Orioles 14 - Detroit Tigers 9
Ryohei Tanaka entered the game in the 9th, with the Orioles up 14-3, and gave up 6 runs in .1 innings of work: 0.1 IP, 4 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 1 BB, 0 SO, 0 HR.
