Eri Yoshida will be joining the Hyogo Blue Sandars as a practice player (an official announcement was made by the club today). Yoshi also mentions on her blog that she's hoping to do what she can to help Hyogo out, while at the same, polishing her skill set.

I wish her the best. What is a “practice player” in the Kansai? Are she actually on the roster, or is she just working out and improving her skill set? Either way, I think it’s a good move for her, as she’s young and needs time to develop.

Sorry for the late reply.
I don’t know the specifics for the KANDOK, but practice players are usually just that: they can practice with the team, but other than that, they can’t really do much more (they can’t play in any official games).
So in terms of honing her skills, she’ll be able to work with other coaches and players. She also won’t be under any stress to perform in official games. But that could be a good thing for her.

Thanks for the additional info, Gen. Best of luck to ALL the Nihonjin players and people of Japan as they recover from the earthquakes, tsunami, and nuclear disaster.
