I'll keep this updated throughout the day.
A little more on the Giants energy usage tests at Tokyo Dome yesterday... Last year the Dome consumed 800 kW during games. During pre-practice warm-ups yesterday, they tried turning that down to about 400 kW (5 of the 14 banks of lights were left off). They brought that up to 430 kW for BP and then bumped it up to 600 kW partway through. So far, it doesn't seem as though there will be any problems with using less energy during games (both in terms of fan and player safety). The Giants also plan on bringing three generators online between mid May and late June.
Darrell Rasner helped Tsuyoshi Kawagishi, Kenta Satake, and Ryan Speier collect donations at Hotto Motto Field before tonight's game against the Nippon Ham Fighters.
