Oakland A's 5 - Texas Rangers 4
Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth.  He went 1-for-5: ground out to third, ground out to the pitcher, RBI ground out to the pitcher, ground out tot second, walk-off solo homer to right.  Matsui is now just 4 home runs away from a career 500 (332 NPB + 164 MLB) homers.

Boston Red Sox 9 - LA Angles 5
Hideki Okajima entered the game in the top of the 9th with a runner on first, 1 out, and the Red Sox up 9-4.  He allowed the inherited runner to score, but retired the next two batters to end the game.  Final line: 0.2 IP, 3 BF, 12-8 NP-S, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO, 0 HR.

Hisanori Takahashi entered the game in the 7th, with the Angels down 3-2, and retired the first batter he faced, but gave up a single and a double to the next two batters and was yanked from the game.  Both runners would come around to score after his departure.  Final line: 0.1 IP, 3 BF, 9-7 NP-S, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO, 0 HR.

Ryohei Tanaka started the game and gave up a run over 3 innings of work.  Final line: 3 IP, 12 BF, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO, 0 HR.

Tsuyoshi Nishioka arrived in Florida on the 2nd.  He'll begin working with a trainer on the 3rd -- he'll begin ramping up his rehab with the addition of fielding and batting practice.
