Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted fifth. He went 1-for-5: ground out to third, ground out to the pitcher, RBI ground out to the pitcher, ground out tot second, walk-off solo homer to right. Matsui is now just 4 home runs away from a career 500 (332 NPB + 164 MLB) homers.
