Notes

Nippon Ham: The Fighters have won 7 in a row against the Buffaloes (going back to their first win on 9/20/2010). ... Darvish topped out at 151km/h. ... If not for Nataka's 3-run triple, the game could have ended in a 3-3 tie since the game was already over the 3.5 hour mark.

Orix: Kishida suffered his first loss since 7/6/2010 (vs Seibu).

How long will Okada stick with Lee 1B? He is terrible. Orix has no hitting, no defense, no coaching and little pitching. The organization is clueless. When the games on the line I sure as hell don’t want to see Suzuki C or Moriyama RF come to the plate. They almost never come through. Didn’t Suzuki hit .067 one year? One of the worst catchers I’v ever seen.

“The Fighters have won 7 in a row against the Buffaloes (going back to their first win on 9/20/2010).”

One might also note that Ham has won 4 in a row vs. Orix since Okada decided to end their season last year by giving Lotte two freebies and the 3rd PL playoff spot.
