Tae-Kyun Kim was back in the starting line-up yesterday after missing two games because he wasn't feeling well.  Kim also batted clean-up for the first time since 4/17 (vs Nippon Ham) and went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

According to Nikkan Sports, Sho Nakata knocked out a homer to right for the first time in his pro (Ichi-gun) career.

Head / batting coach Koichi Tabuchi told reporters they'll probably split up Akinori Iwamura and Randy Ruiz in the batting order -- the two have been batting 6th and 7th, respectively, this season (in 16 out of 21 games) and haven't produced the results they the team was expecting.
