I'll keep this updated throughout the day.

Chiba Lotte Marines

The Marines played their first night game at QVC Marine Field today.  As part of the team's effort to conserve energy, 20% of the lights were left off during the game.

The NPB announced that they will be holding an event in Sendai on the 16th called Kokoro-no Catch Ball (loosely translated as Playing Catch for the Heart and Soul).  Six players, including Motohiro Shima, Teppei, Tetsuya Utsumi, and Hayato Sakamoto, will attend and meet with elementary school kids from areas that were hit by the earthquake and tsunami.

A number of former and current pro-yakyu players, like Sadaharu Oh, Senichi Hoshino, and Masahiro Tanaka, will be taking part in Tube's Restart Japan Northern Japan Earthquake Charity Song project.  Over 120 sports figures, celebrities, and singers will be taking part in the project.  The song, entitled Restart, is scheduled to hit store shelves on 6/8.
