Seibu Lions

Kazuhisa Makia worked out at Seibu Dome today.  He'll probably start tomorrow's game against Chunichi.

Shogo Akiyama worked out with the Ichi-gun roster today.  Akiyama started the season on the active roster, but was demoted after struggling.  Since then, he's put up very solid numbers at Ni-gun (72 PA, .443 / .458 / .600) and it seems the Lions want to see how he'll do at Ichi-gun again.

Chiba Lotte Marines

Yoshihisa Naruse will likely start tomorrow's game against the Yokohama Bay Stars.

Nippon Ham Fighters

Yuki Saito is hoping he'll be able to pitch in the bullpen later next week.  But in order for that to happen, they'll first need to see if he's capable of throwing off a mound (that could take place this weekend).  Up to now, Saito has been playing catch on flat ground without any pain.

Hisashi Takeda became the first to 10 saves, in either league, last night.

Orix Buffaloes

Akinobu Okada avoided the press after practices at Kyocera Dome today.  Okada also turned down interview requests after the team's last loss on the 17th (for the second time this season).

The Buffaloes are expected to add Hikaru Ito to the active roster tomorrow.

Rakuten Eagles

Takashi Kawai worked out with the Ichi-gun roster today.  He is expected to make an Ichi-gun start some time soon.
