For the Lions' next round of Inter-league Old Timers Pre-Game Ceremonial At Bat at Seibu Dome:

vs Yomiuri Giants: 5/31 - Kazunori Shinozuka will face Tomio Watanabe; 5/29 - Daisuke Motoki will face Tetsuya Shiozaki.

vs Hiroshima Carp: 6/8 - Mitsuo Tatsukawa will face Yoshitaka Katori; 6/9 - Takehiko Kobayakawa will face Kimiyasu Kudo.

Chiba Lotte Marines

Yoshihisa Naruse started a game at Koshien Stadium last night for the first time since the 2003 Spring Koshien Tournament (when he was a member of Yokohama High School).

Rakuten Eagles

Masahiro Tanaka started last night's game on 5 days of rest.  The last and only other time Tanaka started a game on 5 days of rest since turning pro: 8/27/2009 vs Seibu.

      From what I’ve read, he still wants to make a comeback. But then I haven’t read any comments from him since the old-timer’s ceremonial at bat announcement.

      Of course, whether or not he’s able to get back to playing isn’t really up to him, so much as it’s up to him finding a team that’s interested in signing him.
