Notes

Hiroshima: The Carp were shutout for the second game in a row and the offense has not scored a run in 26 consecutive innings.  The last time they were shutout in consecutive games was back on 7/13 and 7/14/1993.

Nippon Ham: The Fighters recorded their 7th shutout victory of the year (and 6th of the month). They also won back-to-back 1-0 games for the first time since 8/21 and 8/22/2007. ...
