Seiichi Uchikawa told reporters yesterday that he was a little worried about his right hamstring and said that he didn't want create any trouble for the team by trying to play while he wasn't 100%. He took the day off from practice yesterday in order to get treatment on the leg. At this point, it doesn't appear he'll miss tonight game, but a lot will depend on how he's feeling before game time.

Yuki Saito is expected to pitch 2 innings in his rehab outing tomorrow (Ni-gun game vs Yokohama). Since straining his left oblique, Saito has also managed to shed about 3kg.
For practice today, Saito spent about an hour on trunk exercises and then moved on to playing catch and doing some running.
