It appears there might be a chance that Tsuyoshi Wada misses his next start (assuming 6-days of rest, it would be on the 8th vs Yomiuri). The team will continue to monitor Wada closely and will only allow him to start if he's 100% ready (no pain and the swelling gone). At this point, they don't feel the need to rush him back.
Kazuhisa Makita will probably get tonight's start against the Chunichi Dragons.
Tatsuya Oshi is scheduled to toss BP next week. On Thursday, he played some catch, took some fielding practice, and told reporters that he was no longer worried about his right shoulder.

There was a slight chance that Yuki Saito might have been able to make it back to the active roster in time to pitch during a 2-game series against the Hiroshima Carp, but the coaches shot that idea down for the time being, saying it was simply too early to make any decisions, especially since he has yet to pitch in a rehab game. At this point, it seems more likely that he'll return in time for a start against the Chiba Lotte Mariners (at Sapporo Dome, on either the 29th or 30th).
The comic: Yu Darvish jokingly told 711 kids during his visit of Yurigahara Elementary School in Sapporo that he decided to play baseball because ice hockey practices were too difficult.
Chihiro Kaneko will probably be added to the active roster today and could get his first start tomorrow (vs Hiroshima).
Kazuki Kondo could also be added to the active roster today. He'll most likely be used out of the bullpen and won't get to start any games until after Inter-league play ends.
Takahiro Shiomi will probably start tonight's game against the Yomiuri Giants.
