NHK World broadcast this game in the Philippines. Not only am I disapppointed in the outcome but what appears to be only 6 full innings of coverage due to the late start of the broadcast and interrupted by a 30 minute news portion

They only broadcast the first 6 innings? Sorry to hear about that. If you have a complaint, you should try lodging it with NHK World broadcast. If enough people complain, it’s possible they’ll try to avoid similar outcomes in the future.

Here in Japan, we get to see games all the way to the 7th or 8th inning often (I am referring to non-NHK broadcasters). Then they say “END” and we have to go to our computers for the rest of the game.

I especially hate it when they leave the game in the middle of a late inning rally… That really burns me. But I suppose it can’t be helped — it’s a business for them and they have sponsors to worry about.
