All-Tokyo High School takes both games against Urban Youth Academy

An All-Tokyo High School team played two USA-Japan Friendship High School games against Urban Youth Academy today at MeijiDai Utsumi Shimaoka Ballpark.  The All-Tokyo High School team won both games.

Various notes (taken from a number of different news sites):

Kentaro Yoshinaga started the first game and tossed 3 shutout innings while giving up 3 hits.

Takuro Ito entered the game in the 7th inning of the first game and tossed a shutout inning in relief.

Shoji Yoshimoto started the second game and also tossed 3 shutout innings while allowing 1 hit and striking out 4.

The All-Tokyo High School team banged out a total 25 hits (from both games).

Sho Azegami and Toshitake Yokoo hit consecutive doubles in the 1st inning of the first game to create the first run of the game.

30 scouts were in the stands for today's two USA-Japan Friendship High School games.
