According to Sanspo, Murton was also warned by the home plate ump after the first inning in last night's game to keep things moving along while in the batter's box (seems Murton was taking too much time getting settled in the box).

The Giants announced yesterday that they'll be hosting Fantasy Open Field 2011 on 8/14 (vs Hiroshima) and 8/21 (vs Yakult). Elementary school kids with tickets to either game will have a chance to experience what it would be like to work at Tokyo Dome.
It appears Josh Whitesell's family is currently in Japan: his wife Melissa and his twins kids Brady and Brooke. (apologies if I misspelled the names.)

6/24 vs Yakult - up 1-0 he gave up a game-tying RBI infield single to Yuichi in the bottom of the 9th, then a walk-off homer to Josh Whitesell in the bottom of the 10th.
