Yasuyuki Kataoka was held out of the starting line-up today, likely due to tweaking his right shoulder during last night's game against the Softbank Hawks.

Tatsuya Oishi pitched in a Ni-gun game against Nippon Ham today.  Oishi entered the game in the 5th and allowed a run over 2 innings of work.  He also gave up 3 hits, tossed 49 pitches, and topped out at 139km/h.  Oishi was originally scheduled to go 3 innings but his outing was cut short because he ended up throwing a lot of pitches in just 2 innings.

Nippon Ham Fighters

Bobby Scales made his Fighters debut during a Ni-gun game against Seibu today and went 3-for-5: RBI single to center and a stolen base in his third at bat batting from the left side; a single to left in his fourth at bat batting from the right side; and a single to left in his fifth at bat batting from the left side.
