Yomiuri Giants

It was Hirokazu Sawamura Day at Tokyo Dome today.  As part of the event, Sawamura signed autographs for 50 fans before the game.

The Giants are looking for fans 16 and over that are interested in creating energy to charge their hero cars using stationary bicycles.

The Giants announced that they'll be hosting Pokemon Night on the 15th (vs Yakult) at Tokyo Dome (it's a promotional event that ties in with a Pokemon movie that hits theaters on the 16th).

Yakult Swallows

Yoshinori Sato pitched in a Ni-gun game against Yomiuri today.  He entered the game in the 8th and tossed 2 shutout innings while allowing 3 hits.  He also topped out at 151km/h.

The Swalllows arrived in Akita today and held practices at Komachi Stadium (everyone other than the veterans attended).  Because of the scattered showers, position players spent time taking indoor BP.

Yokohama Bay Stars

Daisuke Miura joined the Ichi-gun team for practice today.  There's a chance he could get an Ichi-gun start on the 10th vs Chunichi.

Hiroshima Carp

Bryan Bullington's next start will probably be on the 10th (vs Yomiuri).  If he gets the start, it'll be on 4 days of rest.
