Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 2-for-5: ground out to short, fly out to left, single to center (run scored), single to left, fly out to left.

Hisanori Takahashi entered the game in the top of the 8th, with the Angels up 8-3, and tossed a shutout inning in relief.  Final line: 1 IP, 5 BF, 12-9 NP-S, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 SO, 0 HR.

Texas Rangers 7 - Oakland A's 6
Hideki Matsui started in left and batted third.  He went 0-for-1: strikeout swinging, reaches on catcher interference + RBI, walk (run scored), walk (caught trying to steal second).  Matsui was also replaced on defense in the bottom of the 8th.

Chicago White Sox 4 - Minnesota Twins 3
Tsuyoshi Nishioka started at short and batted eighth.  He went 1-for-3: bunt single (run scored), ground out to the pitcher, strikeout looking.  Nishioka has now safely hit in 4 straight games.

Chicago Cubs 6 - Pittsburgh Pirates 3
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He went 2-for-4: walk (runs scored), RBI single to center, ground out to first, ground out to second, double to center (run scored).  Fukudome also threw out a runner at home plate in the bottom of the 1st.

Cincinnati Reds 8 - Milwaukee Brewers 4
Takashi Saito entered the game in the top of the 7th, with the score tied at 3, and tossed a shutout inning in relief.  Final line: 1 IP, 5 BF, 19-13 NP-S, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO, 0 HR.
