Tsuyoshi Nishioka started at short and batted ninth.  He went 1-for-3: infield single (with advance to second on throwing error), fly out to center, ground out to second.

Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-4: ground out to second, walk (run scored), fly out to right,  RBI double to right, fly out to center.

Florida Marlins 4 - New York Mets 1
Ryota Igarashi entered the game in the top of the 9th, with the Mets down 4-0,  and retired the side in order. Final line: 1 IP, 3 BF, 13-9 NP-S, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO, 0 HR.


Pawtucket Red Sox 4 - Lehigh Valley IronPigs 1
Hideki Okajima entered the game in the top of the 6th, with Pawtucket up 2-0, and tossed 2 no-hit, no-run innings. Final line: 2 IP, 6 BF, 26-18 NP-S, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO, 0 HR.


Tsuyoshi Nishioka told reporters that reporters that he felt his fatigue levels were reaching a peak and that wanted to make good use of the manager's decision to sit him during game 2 of Monday's double-header.
