The Girls Professional Baseball League (GPBL) played a charity match at Sendai Municipal Stadium on Thursday (9/15). The GPBL held clinics in Sendai and Natori back in July, but this was their first game in the Tohoku region. Admission was free and proceeds from merchandise sales will be donated to relief and reconstruction efforts in northern Japan. The Kyoto players also held a baseball clinic for about 50 people before the game.
