Wei-Ying Chen's next start could come on the 25th (vs Yakult @ Nagoya Dome), again on 5 days of rest.

Hanshin Tigers

Both Hiroyuki Kobayashi and Tomoyuki Kubota pitched in a Ni-gun game against Chunichi today.  Kobayashi topped out at 145km/h and did not allow a run, or a hit, over an inning of work.  Kubota topped out at 150km/h and also did not allow a run, but did give up 1 hit, over an inning of work.

Nikkan Sports notes that while the Tigers will probably want Jason Standridge back next season, there's a chance they might let him go if he can't get out of his current pitching funk.  And it seems they also quoted him as saying, "I feel like a lost kid."

The last time the Tigers gave up 21 hits in a game: 6/17/2009 vs the Nippon Ham Fighters at Kyocera Dome.  Monday's game was also the third time the Tigers gave up double-digit runs this season: 6/5 vs Orix; 6/12 vs Seibu; and 9/19 vs Hiroshima.
