Nippon Ham Fighters: Sho Nakata diagnosed with inner ear dizziness

by on Sep.23, 2011 @ 4:03 pm, under NPB

The results from Sho Nakata's examination on Thursday revealed that he was suffering from inner ear dizziness (labyrinthitis).

"It isn't a serious condition like Meniere's Disease," said the Fighters' chief trainer.  "We won't push him hard when he's feeling [dizzy], but he should be able to play otherwise.  His condition improves with rest. ... Fatigue and stress could be causes."

Nakata did make it into the starting line-up today.
