9/27/2011: Ichiro Suzuki, Hideki Matsui, Kosuke Fukudome

Seattle Mariners 4 - Oakland A's 2
Ichiro Suzuki started in right and batted first.  He went 1-for-4: strikeout swinging, ground out to short, strikeout swinging, infield single.

Hideki Matsui was the starting DH and batted third.  He went 2-for-4: RBI single to left, single to center, line out to left, strikeout  (foul tip).

Detroit Tigers 14 - Cleveland Indians 0
Kosuke Fukudome started in right and batted first.  He was also replaced by a pinch-hitter in the top of the 9th.  He went 0-for-3: fly out to left, ground out to the pitcher, ground out to second.

Texas Rangers 4 - LA Angels 3
Koji Uehara entered the game in the bottom of the 6th (bases loaded, 2 out, Rangers up 3-2) and retired the first batter he faced to get out of the inning.  He also retired the side in order in the bottom of the 7th.  Final line: 1.1 IP, 4 BF, 20-16 NP-S, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO, 0 HR.

Takashi Saito entered the game in the top of the 7th, with the game tied at 8, and allowed a run, on a 2-out double to Alex Presley, over an inning of work.  Saito also took the loss and is now 4-2.  Final line: 1 IP, 5 BF, 33-19 NP-S, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 SO, 0 HR.

Ryota Igarashi entered the game in the top of the 6th (bases loaded, no out, Mets up 4-3) and retired three batters in a row to get out of the inning without allowing an inherited runner to score.  He also got the first out of the top of the 7th before being replaced by Tim Byrdak.  Final line: 1.1 IP, 4 BF, 14-10 NP-S, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO, 0 HR.
