The Japan High School Baseball Federation (JHBF) was notified by Kagoshima Josei High School that players on their baseball team were caught stealing money and riding public transportation without paying in July and September. While the JHBF is allowing the high school to participate in the Fall Kyushu High School Tournament, as punishment for their delay reporting the incidents, the manager and the director of the team will not be allowed to enter the dugout for the games.
According to reports, a 3rd year student was caught stealing money (20,000 yen) at player dorms after the Kagoshima Tournament in July and a 1st year student was caught stealing a ride on a train in September. The JHBF asks all members of their federation to report incidents on a timely basis, but it took Kagoshima Josei until the 19th of this month to file reports on two events that took place in July and September.
