The Pacific League posted their preliminary schedule for the 2012 season today.

Some notes on the schedule:

• The Softbank Hawks will play host to the Seibu Lions at Tokyo Dome on 7/2. For the Hawks, it will just be the second time they play a home game at Tokyo Dome. The first time: 6/15/2004, Fukuoka Daiei Hawks vs Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes.
• One team will play 144 games
  • Against PL teams: 60 home games and 60 road games. 24 games against each team.
  • Against CL teams: 12 home games and 12 road games. 4 games against 6 CL teams.
• Home away from home games: Nippon Ham 14, Rakuten 6, Seibu 5, Lotte 0, Orix 15, Softbank 5 - a total 45 games.
