Sponichi is reporting that the Yokohama Bay Stars plan on releasing Hiroki Sanada if his posting doesn't go well.

"If there are no bids, we will release him," said team official Teiji Sato.  "We respect his wish to play in the US, regardless of whether it is in the majors or minors."

But Sanada is ok with this as he said to reporters, "Returning to Yokohama because there are no bids is not an option.  This is the only time I can risk it all."
