Your current thoughts.
I have wanted to play in the US ever since I had my first taste of what it was like back when I was on the collegiate national team. I feel like I have finally gotten to the starting line.
When did you officially decide to exercise your FA option?
I decided once the season was over.
What is so great about the Majors?
I can experience things I can not experience in Japan. I think it will be a great chance to redefine who I am by prevailing in tough situations.
What kind of teams interest you?
I have been a starter up until now. I would like to speak to clubs that will give ma chance to be a starter.
Any specific locations?
Nothing like that.
What about a move domestically?
I am not thinking about that [as an option].
What will be the key to your success?
How quickly I can adapt to the new environment.
