Yokohama Bay Stars will not sign Terrmel Sledge to extension

The Yokohama Bay Stars announced today that they will not be signing Terrmel Sledge (34) to a contract for the 2012 season. Sledge is said to be interested in returning to Japan next season.

Rakuten, R U LISTENING? Please, a guy like Sledge who’s not only willing to play in NPB, but has experience and is still fairly young and a good attitude about NPB are pretty rare. A little ‘pop’ would be great for Rakuten.
