Softbank Hawks

Team director Itaru Kobayashi on Tsuyoshi Wada and Munenori Kawasaki leaving: It is unfortunate and sad, but I want to respect their decision and will cheer for them.  They have a link with this team and we will always have a place ready for them, should they ever decide to return.

Shoitsu Omatsu will most likely remain the team's player's group chairman next season.

Nippon Ham Fighters

Sho Nakata told reporters on Wednesday he was interested in learning more about how Atsunori Inaba uses golf as part of his training routine.

Nakata also said he plans on doing as much running during the off-season as possible, especially on days when he does not have time to do anything else (like BP and weight training).

Orix Buffaloes

Akinobu Okada took part in a supporters party in Kyoto on Thursday and told guests, "The front office is proactively making moves to improve the team.  We will definitely win next year."

Okada also told reporters that he wants to visit Korea once the Dae-Ho Lee deal becomes official because he wants to talk to Lee himself and tell him a little about what to expect (to help make his transition easier during spring camp).
