Yu Darvish worried about what will happen if posting does not go well

Sponichi is reporting that Yu Darvish might not make a decision until mid to late January.
"His table time does not say anything about making a decision in December," said Farsad Darvish, Yu Darvish's father. "He is talking to the team and will most likely make a decision by some time in mid to late January."
Darvish's father also said that his son:
- is currently 50-50 with his decision
- has been discussing things with his agents Arn Tellem and Don Nomura
- is extremely worried about what happens if negotiations do not go well, like with Hisashi Iwakuma
- does not want to create a mess for the Fighters' during spring camp

This is starting to get ridiculous. Darvish is making a spectacle of himself; probably on purpose. He is coming off like he is a very indecisive man. Not good.
Because he’s probably indecisive … It’s a tough situation for him, I can understand it.
By delaying, Darvish will hurt his position with MLB organizations. By January, most ballclubs have their major pieces in place already.
The problem with Iwakuma was that the A’s bid was relatively high and they didn’t have any significant money left to offer him a contract he could accept. Maybe they just wanted to prevent him from going somewhere else.
However, whoever wins the bidding on Darvish will sign him. No reason to have that fear and especially no reason to prolong uncertainty (how’s that gonna help the Fighters?).
In my opinion they just wait to see some of the big names in the FA class (especially Wilson) gone…
That does make sense about the likes of C.J. Wilson. We shall see. I’m anxious as hell to see how he would do over here.
