Softbank Hawks

The Hawks' victory trip will be to Honolulu, Hawaii -- the team will leave on 12/12 and return on 12/18.

The Hawks announced on Monday the following uniform number changes: Katsuki Yamazaki from 62 to 29; Reo Chikada from 29 to 49; Soichiro Tateoka from 7 to 68.

While Seiichi Uchikawa's base salary this season was 170M yen, he also earned an extra 90M yen in incentives.  Uchikawa agreed to a base salary of 170M yen season (he will most likely have the option to renegotiate his base salary after the 2012 season).

Yuichi Honda (27) announced on Sunday that he filed marriage papers with a 26-year-old woman on 11/21.

Seibu Lions

Tatsuya Oishi's plans for the off-season: will hold workouts at Seibu 2 Stadium until about mid-December then continue training when he returns home to Fukuoka.  He also plans to begin his training for the new year on January 1st.

The Lions announced on Monday that Takeya Nakamura's wife gave birth to the couple's second child on 12/3 (a son weighing 2,540 grams).

The Lions will be selling special limited edition Kazuhisa Makita merchandise commemorating his RoY award: t-shirts (300), towels (300), and autographed baseballs (50) and photos (100).  Advance orders for baseballs and photos will take place between 12/9 and 12/25 (items will be delivered in late March 2012) while the t-shirts and towels will become available on 12/14.

Nippon Ham Fighters

The Fighter players held their Nokai (final meeting of the year) on MondayYu Darvish did not attend.
