Sports Hochi is reporting that the Orix Buffaloes and Ming-Chieh Hsu (35) have agreed upon a two-year deal worth a total 100M yen.  An announcement could be made as early as today.

The Buffaloes will likely use Ming-Chieh as a late-inning reliever in order to lighten the workload for Yoshihisa Hirano and Mamoru Kishida.  Hirano and Kishida finished with the first and second most appearances in the Pacific League this season (72 and 68 games respectively).

UPDATE @ 8:37pm - The Buffaloes have announced that they signed Hsu.
