Hiroyuki Nakajima took part in Dream Field on Sunday and harvested some vegetables with kids.

Chiba Lotte Marines

Yoshihisa Naruse is hoping to become just the fourth pitcher in franchise history to be named opening day starter three seasons in a row.  The other three: Choji Murata (1975-1982), Satoru Komiyama (1991-1994) and Tomohiro Kuroki (1999-2001).

Nippon Ham Fighters

Hideki Kuriyama plans to name a younger team captain before the start of spring camp.

About 1,000 fans showed up for a talk session held by Atsunori Inaba in Kushiro, Hokkaido on Sunday.  Inaba also met 79 kids at a child care facility in Kushiro.

Orix Buffaloes

Takahiro Okada will have two batter intro songs next season: one that will be played when there are no runners on base and another that will be played with runners on base.  The intro song he used this season, Ketsumeishi's Carvinal, will be used with runners on base.

He is also hoping to secure an everyday job in left next season since Dae-Ho Lee and Shinji Takahashi will most likely split their time between first and DH.  Okada started 106 games in left and 23 games at first this past season.

Rakuten Eagles

Dressed in a suit, Masahiro Tanaka visited Kleenex Stadium on Saturday in order to meet with team officials and once again apologize for his actions.  It was his first appearance in public since his accident made the headlines on the 15th.

On Sunday, Tanaka started up his workouts again (about an hour of weight training) -- he was refraining from baseball activities after the accident.
