Softbank Hawks

Yuya Hasegawa visited patients at Iizuka Hospital in Iizuka, Fukuoka on Tuesday.

Seibu Lions

Tokorozawa mayor Masato Fujimoto would like to see more players and staff living in Tokorozawa.

Chiba Lotte Marines

The Marines will be handing out free Marines Arithmetic Drills to elementary schools in Chiba (119 schools, about 52,000 kids).  Ikuhiro Kiyota kicked things off by participating in a ceremony at Todorokicho Elementary School on Tuesday.

Nippon Ham Fighters

The Fighters would like to collaborate on some sort of event with Kashiwa Reysol (J-League soccer team).  The two sides have done of a couple of things in the past -- Reysol mascot Rey-kun made an appearance at Kamagaya Stadium on 9/23/2009 and Ni-gun Fighters' mascot Cubby made an appearance at Hitachi Kashiwa Soccer Stadium on 8/20/2011.

The Nippon Ham Fighters are planning to play night games in Asahikawa beginning in 2013.  Construction surveys for a lighting system have already been conducted and a fully functional system should be in place by the Spring of 2013.  Asahikawa city officials are trying to make a splash by making the stadium the northernmost stadium in Japan to have a lighting system.
