According to Nikkan Sports, the Yakult Swallows have agreed to a deal with OF Lastings Milledge (26) and will be making an official announcement some time today.  Milledge will most likely play left.

UPDATE @ 10:03pm - Milledge got a one-year deal worth 45M yen plus incentives.  The team also has an option for a second year.  He was assigned the number 85.

UPDATE 12/28 @ 11:27am - According to Sanspo, the Swallows plan to start Milledge in left and bat him fifth in the line-up behind Shingo Kawabata and Kazuhiro Hatakeyama.
