Yokohama Bay Stars sign Giancarlo Alvarado

Nikkan Sports is reporting that the Yokohama Bay Stars are close to a deal with former Hiroshima Carp Giancarlo Alvarado (33). An announcement will likely be made within the next few days.
UPDATE @ 9:33pm - Alvarado got a one-year deal worth 55M yen and the number 61.
