Complete 2012 Pacific League Schedules Released

The Pacific League released their compete schedules today (January 26).

Some notes:

  • Th Rakuten Eagles will play three weekday day games (April 3-5, vs Softbank) at Kleenex Stadium this year. This is a first since 2008 (April 1-3, vs Lotte). A series against the Softbank Hawks was scheduled last year (March 29-31), but it was canceled due to the March 11 earthquake.
  • The Seibu Lions will be playing a day game against the Orix Buffaloes at Omiya Stadium on April 14. This is the first Seibu day game at Omiya Sadium since 2008. A day game against the Orix Buffaloes was scheduled last year (April 10), but it was canceled due to the March 11 earthquake.
  • The Lions will play six games that begin at 5pm; Lotte four games; and Rakuten two games. The Lions have played games that begin at 5pm seven years in a row (since 2006); and Lotte four years in a row (since 2009). This will be a first for Rakuten since 2010.

  • F = Nippon Ham Fighters
  • E = Rakuten Eagles
  • H = Softbank Hawks
  • L = Seibu Lions
  • M = Chiba Lotte Marines
  • Bs = Orix Buffaloes
