The Giants started their workouts indoors today because of strong wind and cold temperature.

Tatsunori Hara spent about five minutes giving Taishi Ota tips on hitting while watching Murata take BP on Wednesday (Hara was using Murata as a reference model).

Shinnosuke Abe caught Ryosuke Miyaguni's bullpen session on Wednesday.

  • John Bowker took fifty-two swings and hit two over the fence. (Sanspo)

  • At around 12:06pm on Wednesday, Toshiya Sugiuchi began his bullpen session. Fifteen TV cameras and twenty photographers covered the session. And of the eighty pitches he threw, twenty-one were sliders. And as mentioned yesterday, he really only meant to throw about fifty pitches. (Sanspo)
