Today was the last day of the second block of spring camp.  The team has the day off tomorrow.

7th round draft pick Takumi Oshima received about twenty e-mails from friends and acquaintances congratulating him on his intra-squad game home run on Wednesday.

Terrmel Sledge arrived in Japan on Wednesday and joined the team for practices today.

Mitsuo Yoshikawa's next outing will likely be in a practice game against Hanshin on February 12.
