  • Yuki Saito started the game for the Fighters and allowed four runs on five hits over three innings of work.  He also struck out four, walked one, and gave up a two-run homer to Yuta Naito in the 3rd inning (runner on second, two out).  FYI: all four runs scored in his third inning of work.   • 4th round draft pick Yuya Ota allowed six runs on ten hits and two walks/HBPs over three innings of work; he struck out two batters.
  • 2nd round draft pick Ryohei Kiya did not allow a run over three innings of relief.  Kiya gave up three hits and struck out two.

  • 1st round draft pick Ken Togame tossed two shutout innings in relief for the Whites while allowing one hit.  He also topped out at 145km/h. [Sports Hochi, Sponichi]
  • Fumiya Nishiguchi gave up two run on two hits (including a solo homer) over two innings of work. [Sponichi]
