The Buffaloes closed out Ichi-gun spring camp in Miyakojima today. The main group of players left for Naha today for a set of practice games that begins on Saturday. The rest of the group will continue to work outat Miyakojima Stadium.
Akinobu Okada told reporters he was satisfied with the progress players made during Miyakojima camp and that everyone was an MVP.
Hayato Terahara worked out under a separate training program on Thursday because of tightness in his right calf.
"I could probably do some jogging if I had to, but I am still feeling some discomfort. I am also a little worried about the delays in my preparation," said Terahara.
Regarding the tightness he started feeling in his right shoulder on Monday, Terahara replied, "It is getting better. I guess the only thing I can do is get myself back little by little."
Okada was impressed with Satoshi Komatsu's bullpen session on Wednesday.
