Seibu Lions vs Chiba Lotte Marines (@ Kochi)

Lions 3 - Marines 2

  • 1st round draft pick Takahiro Fujioka started the game for Lotte and allowed one run on four hits over four innings of work.  He also struck out five and topped out at 145km/h.  [Nikkan Sports, Nikkan Sports]
  • 4th round draft pick Naoya Masuda tossed a shutout inning in relief while allowing one hit and topped out at 146km/h.  He recorded two ground ball outs and a strikeout. [Sponichi]
  • Enrique Gonzalez started the game for the Lions tossed three prefect innings and topped out at 151km/h.  He also struck out four batters. [Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi]
  • 1st round draft pick Ken Togame entered the game in the 9th and had problems with his control that ultimately led him to walk the bases loaded with one out. [Sanspo]
