===

Takashi Saito took a personal moment of silence (for the lives that were lost during the Tohoku Earthquake) before making his first pitch on Saturday.

Daisuke Matsuzaka will toss two more bullpen sessions before pitching three to four batting practices.  If everything goes well during those outing, he could pitch in a game some time in early April.

===

Tsuyoshi Nishioka took part in pre-game fielding and batting practice on Sunday and did not play in the exhibition game against the New York Yankees.

===

Tsuyoshi Wada threw forty-five pitches in the bullpen.  He is slated to toss live batting practice on Wednesday.

Yu Darvish's workouts on Sunday included fielding practice and short distance dashes.  He also picked up baseballs in the outfield during batting practice and tried throwing a knuckleball while playing catch.
