Yu Darvish (TEX) started an intra-squad game on Sunday and gave up four runs on six hits and two walks over five innings. All four runs scored in the 4th inning on five hits. He also struck out eleven and threw eighty-five pitches. Darvish's first regular season start will either be against the Chicago White Sox on April 8 or Seattle Mariners on April 9. Sanspo notes that the Rangers are thinking about adding a new item on their menu that might appeal to Japanese fans, like wrapping sausages in wonton skin or rice paper with seaweed, wasabi, and mayo.
