The New York Yankees announced that Hiroki Kuroda (NYY) will start the home opener at Yankee Stadium against the LA Angels (April 13). US reports, like Newsday, simply mention that Kuroda will most likely start the home opener since he will be starting the second game of the season on April 7.

Norichika Aoki (MIL) did not play in Tuesday's exhibition game after he felt discomfort in his right hamstring while running out a triple on Monday. The injury is not considered serious as he did participate in team workouts.
