Hiroki Kuroda's (NYY) workouts on Thursday included weight training and fielding practice.  Said Kuroda, "I have good balance with my delivery so I do not feel tired.  I also do not feel any bad tightness either."

Kuroda is expected to throw around one hundred pitches during his next outing on April 2.

Via Daily SportsRyota Igarashi (PIT) was reassigned to minor league camp on Thursday.

Said Igarashi, "I am disappointed, but I do not feel as if I did not try my best.  My baseball career is not yet over. ... I will talk things over with my agent and decide on my options, including remaining with the team or finding a new team outside of the US."

Norichika Aoki (MIL) did not play on Thursday.  He told reporters his right hamstring was feeling much better than the day before.

Tsuyoshi Wada (BAL) threw thirty-eight pitches in the bullpen on Thursday.  He is next scheduled to throw seventy-five to eighty-five pitches during an outing on either March 31 or April 2.

G.G. Sato made his debut in left and batted fourth for the Fortitudo Bologna on March 29.  Sato went 2-for-5: strikeout, strikeout, single to left, single to center, fly out to center.
