LA Angels 9 - Arizona Diamondbacks 2
Hisanori Takahashi (LAA) entered the game in the 9th, with the Angels up 9-2, and tossed a shutout inning in relief.  Final line: 1 IP, 4 BF, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 SO, 0 HR. [Sanspo]

Milwaukee Brewers 9 - LA Dodgers 4
Norichika Aoki (MIL) started in right and batted eighth.  He went 0-for-2: HBP, ground out to short, ground out to short.  Aoki was replaced on defense in the 8th. [Sanspo]

Texas Rangers 5 - Colorado Rockies 3
Yu Darvish (TEX) started the game and allowed three runs (all earned) over six innings of work.  Final line: 6 IP, 26 BF, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 11 SO, 1 HR, 1 WP. [Sponichi]

The Seattle Mariners returned to the US out of Narita International Airport on Friday.  And Nikkan Sports has included images of what Ichiro Suzuki was wearing when he arrived in and left Japan.

Hiroki Kuroda (NYY) threw thirty-six pitches in the bullpen on Friday.

The Hanshin Tigers may still be interested in Ryota Igarashi if he is indeed open to returning to Japan.

But that point is moot, at least for the time being, since Igarashi was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for a PTBNL or cash.  Said Igarashi about the trade, "I heard that the Blue Jays were one of a few teams that were interested in me during the off-season.  It is a good thing for a player to go to a team that wants him.  I want to do my best to make sure I can make good on their expectations."

Norichika Aoki (MIL) told reporters on Friday that he still feels some discomfort in his right hamstring.

Tsuyoshi Wada's (BAL) next outing will be against the State College of Florida on April 3.  He is expected to throw around seventy-five to eighty pitches.  And according to a report by MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli, there is a chance that the Orioles might place Wada on the DL.

Wada, who has been slowed with left elbow discomfort, had his second start moved back to Tuesday instead of Monday -- a move that Showalter explained is "prudent" in the event Wada needs to be put on the disabled list. The team can backdate Wada's DL stint to have him return as early as April 10, since Tuesday's game against State College of Florida is not a paid admission contest.

NHK announced on Friday that they will be televising Yu Darvish's start against the Seattle Mariners on April 10.  The broadcast will begin at 9am on Sogo TV.

Nikkan Sports posted numbers from all four of Darvish's outings:

March 7 vs San Diego: 2 IP, 36 NP, 2 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO.  Topped out at 97mph (~156km/h).

March 13 vs Cleveland: 3 IP, 61 NP, 3 H, 2 ER, 4 BB, 3 SO.

March 19 vs Milwaukee: 4 IP, 70 NP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 SO.

March 30 vs Colorado: 6 IP, 98 NP, 6 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 11 SO.
