Softbank Hawks

Renyel Pinto and Shingo Tatsumi will both be sent down to Ni-gun after their awful outings on Wednesday night against Nippon Ham.

Pinto: 2.1 IP, 5 H, 4 SO, 3 BB, 6 R, 4 ER.
Tatsumi: 3.2 IP, 11 H, 2 SO, 4 BB, 8 R, 8 ER.

The Hawks surrendered fourteen runs last night.  According to Nikkan Sports...  The last time the team gave up fourteen or more runs in one game: 16-1 loss to Orix on March 26, 2010 at Yahoo Dome.  The last time they gave up double-digit runs and did not score a single run: 11-0 loss to Lotte on July 11, 2010 at Yahoo Dome.

Nippon Ham Fighters

The 2012 Victory Cards will be available for purchase, beginning on Thursday.

Seibu Lions

Hirotaka Koishi is slated to start Thursday's Ni-gun game against Rakuten.  He will also be celebrating his 25th birthday.

Orix Buffaloes

Akinobu Okada told reporters on Wednesday that he still has no plans to shake up the starting line-up because he thinks players will begin to come around.  When asked about the team's homerless drought, he replied, "What I can say is this...  There is no way it will be zero homers after 144 games."

With Evan MacLane's start getting pushed back a day because of Wednesday's rain out, today's originally scheduled starter, Alfredo Figaro, will head to the bullpen.  Figaro is expected to return to the starting rotation next week.

Rakuten Eagles

Both Kazuo Matsui and Luis Garcia are slated to rejoin the Ichi-gun roster today.

Matsui could start things off at second, instead of short, to lessen the strain on his lower back.
