According to Sponichi, a fire broke out at Aomori Yamamda High School at around 3:00pm today. The fire was located in the indoor baseball practice facilities -- a portion of artificial turf and two nets were burned by flames. Two teachers suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
At the time of the fire, students were in class and the facilities were supposedly empty. The door to the facilities were unlocked.
Aomori Yamada is currently involved in a wrongful death lawsuit involving a first year student on the baseball team that died after he was hit by another student.
